Food stuck under baby's gums!

DD (14mo) was chomping on some corn on the cob today and a piece of kernel has become stuck down the gum of her front tooth.

How will I get it out or will it come out itself?

I tried that but it's stuck right underneath the gum so really hard to get out! Am hoping it works itself out over the course of the day tomorrow otherwise will phone my dentist and see what he says! If it were me I would try a salt water rinse and floss but can't on DD!

is any of it sticking out at all?

can you get a cotton bud and grab it to slide it out?

Will need to have à good go tomorrow, its getting her to willingly let me that will be the problem! I managed to get a splinter out her knew before but I think this will be a bigger challenge!
