Hi. I am soooo worried. My DD who is 10 yrs old just came to me to show me that her tooth is wobbly. It's bit bleeding and it's bottom one just before the last one. Do they actually come out? She has gone to sleep but I am so scared - what if it comes out when she is sleeping?
Is it adult tooth?
Thank you so much.

Yes, it is her second primary molar or in dentist speak her E. It is unlikely to come out when she is asleep. Much more likely when she is eating. If you are worried make an appointment with your dentist next week.

Thank you so much. You mean it is her adult?

No not an adult tooth - it is the last molar on that side. The tooth further back will be an adult tooth if her '12 year old molars' are already in. Don't worry about it coming out in her sleep - in my experience the molars come out when they are eating like Willdo says.

Sorry primary molar is her baby molar. It can be very confusing when they start loosing these teeth. I have many a worried parent rushing in to have their children checked in case they are adult teeth.
