green teeth wtf....

my 9 month old son has already cut his first 2 teeth (front bottom) no major problem all lovely and white, he is now cutting his top two which look like they are coming through green, anyone know why???

Was he jaundiced? Or did he have any problems at all...as a newborn I mean?

here is a link to a rather scholarly article...it seems rare but dentists treat it in a mainly cosmetic way....I think they can minimise the appearance...it must be worrying for you....

here is another article less scholarly! You need to see a dentist basically...they'll help you with something to minimse the appearance.x

yes he was jaundice also 5 weeks prem and was poorly for the first 2 weeks with breathing difficulty can this be connected then? thank u for links wasn't sure if he was a bit young for dentist and I'd be laughed out of there but will make an appointment after bank hol.. x

Ah that might make sense then....I read jaundiced babies being mentioned as more commonly suffering from this....they CAN do things to make his teeth look better when he's a bit bigger though OP...so good luck! Come back and tell us how you get on bless him.x
