What are these spots?!

Hi
DD aged 6, has had a spot a day appearing for the last week, mostly on her torso, but also arm and groin. They are painful when they first appear, but not itchy. They look a bit like chicken pox spots, but each one scabs over and starts to fade within about 24 h. Two weeks ago she had a slight fever, but only in the evening, and was complaining of a pain in her tummy, but was not very ill. The next week she had a cough but again not v ill, and now these spots. She had chicken pox about 2-3 years ago, not severely, but I wouldn't describe is as mild either i.e. she had at least 100 spots all over her body. The reason I mention this is I know that chicken pox can recur but usually if the first outbreak has been mild. So I think it is probably some kind of 'viral rash' but what? And should I be doing anything?
Any ideas much appreciated!

Shingles? Google it and see if it looks similar perhaps.
