High temp straight after MMR

Hi, my son had the MMR vaccine on Wednesday, developed a temp that same night, and has had one ever since (sitting between 37.7 and 38.2.) Calpol doesn't seem to be helping, but also I was told by the HV and read on the NHS site that they don't get a reaction until 7 days after they've had it. Should I be worried? I don't understand why he's reacting so soon.

Maybe he isn't reacting, maybe he just has a virus. His temp is very mild, personally I'd be tempted not to medicate but keep a close eye on it so it doesn't get too
High. Does he have any other symptoms ?

Meant to say if he needs medicating to help him feel better I'd do that.

Thanks for your response. Yes, he does have a slight cough too so I guess it could be a virus. He's had a temp straight after all the other vaccines too so I assumed it was that. Will keep an eye out for other symptoms, thank you.
