Hello, my little boy is now nearly 5 and was diagnosed with VUR at birth, his left kidney is very enlarged and only 25-30% is working and the right kidney has some scarring. They say his overall function is about 50% so he is just on trimethoprim as a profilactic, alphacalcid drops and sodium bicarbonate. I just feel a bit out of the loop now as he isn't bring checked as regularly and wondered if anyone else was in a similar situation. I am not worried too much, just be nice to talk to others :)
