DD(12) needs to have two baby teeth out next week as part of orthodontist treatment. Basically, teeth are sinking into gum and preventing adult teeth coming through.
This is a first for me and would be grateful for any hints and tips to help her before, during and after.
She is having both done together under local at our own dentist.

We'd had an appointment for a check up and a further appointment two weeks later for my daughter's two teeth to be removed (she's 11). At the check up the dentist said he would take them out there and then. Obviously it was a bit uncomfortable (not in agony though). The dentist advised she take Ibuprofen if her mouth felt uncomfortable that night, but she didn't need any. As we didn't get home until after 6.30pm I didn't have time to make or buy anything soft, she just eat as normal (chicken nuggets and veggies) with no complaints.

I haven't really got any tips for you, but feel for us it went well. Might be worth making sure you've got ibuprofen in just in case. Hope is goes well for your daughter
