My son who is 6 has been suffering from eczema due to hayfever but it looks sort of disc shaped which it hasn't been in previous years. We have been prescribed hydrocortisone cream in the past which wasn't helping at all this time. I noticed that someone on here previously talks about discoid eczema which seems to fit the description. I know it sounds terrible but as we have fucidin H in the house for his younger sister who gets sore inflamed skin behind the ear, I tried it on his skin one night and it looked alot calmer by morning. I have been putting on his skin now on and off for 3 weeks and it seems to be helping. I have now realised that fucidin should only be used for 2 weeks. I have stopped using it and will take hime to GP if it flares up again but I am really worried that have used it for this long. Can anyone reasure me please.
