DS 8 fell off his bike 10 days ago and scraped his ankle, we went to Gran Canaria 3 days later. He became poorly on the transfer hot and queasy and generally unwell. Following morning he seemed better and seemed to get more like himself. However he complained all the time that the scab was hurting, we thought that it was the skin knitting togethrt as the scab hardened. We cleaned it and applied germolene each night but assumed sea and sun would dry it out. It didnt. We came home Sunday and he was still saying it was hurting so yook him to a&e where they swabbed and dressed it, i got a phone call at my grandmothers wake
this afternoon saying he needed anti b for testing positive for the S A out of MRSA does this mean he will test positive for MRSA and what is the prognosis for MRSA in an open wound??? I feel really bad as we thought the sun would clear it up and left it too long
