Congenital Megaprepuce

Someone posted on here about this subject a year ago and I'm wondering if the little boy ended up having the procedure and, if so, what the outcome was; or whether anyone else has experience of this. Our little boy (ten months) has just been diagnosed with this condition and we are awaiting surgery. There's very little out there about Congenital Megaprepuce and I've read all the medical articles that are available on line. What I'm really interested in is: if people have agreed to the surgery, how happy are you with the result further down the line? I know this is a relatively rare condition, so I'm not sure how much experience people will have had of this... Any information gratefully received.

Hi - this is also probably a long shot but my 4 year old has this condition and also had surgery in 2014. He doesn’t have much of a problem now however at his last meeting the urologist said we could consider a circumcision but this would be to improve the look only. I’m only concerned for him in the future as he is not aware of it being any different at the moment - I just wonder if any mums who have had their sons go through this could tell me what you opted for and whether it seemed to improve over a longer period of time? Any advice hugely welcomed! Thank you!
