Anybody have any ideas about price of specialist mouthguards?

Dd1 is going up to high school in September, as part of their gym kit thay need a mouth guard for hockey etc. Now dd1 had an accident when she was 8 (slipped on black ice) and smashed her two front(adult) teeth, due to the dedication of her NHS dentist we have managed to keep the teeth insitu (although both have died)and are hoping that she will be eligible for implants when she is old enough. I'm wary about using a standard mouthguard in case this does not give enough protection to the teeth( do not want have to start from scratch or having all the hard work of the last 2 and half years wasted) and mouth guards are no longer provided on the nhs so looks like we may have to go private to get a specialist one.

Does anyone have any ideaof the sort price this may come to or have any recommendations as to ones on the market that may be more suitable of her.

We are seeing her dentist in August for followup appointment and I will be discussing options then but just want to get some idea of possible costs(so we can start saving if necessary!)

I don't know whether its similar but I have to wear one to sleep in. It's the lab costs the dentist tells me, he made a mould and it got sent off. That was £60 privately

That sounds promising, just wary because you hear some horror stories about the price of private dental stuff, and I don't dd going through any more pain or trauma than she has to (it's long, hard, painful slog to keep the teeth)
