Anyone else got it? DS doesn't seem to have ulcers just lots of spots on one side of his face. It's going around his school.

We had it last year. Its an annoying virus..we had sleepiness, vomiting, blisters on hands and round the mouth. She also had some in her nappy Sad

My two had it last week - they seemed to share it between them, dd had hand and foot bit (and spots on legs and bottom too) and poor ds had the mouth ulcers :( DD was absolutely fine, not symptoms other than spots, but DS's mouth was really sore for a few days and he could hardly eat (just porridge, very gingerly..) Just I was starting to get worried though, it cleared up and he was right as rain again :)

Hope your DS is not too poorly.

Thanks for your replies. DS is not too bad he has got a spot in his nose and one on the side of his mouth which is bothering him. His teaching assistant is pregnant so I thought it best to keep him at home.

He thinks the summer holidays have come early.

I was pregnant when mine had it. Dr said to me it was fine. He needs to be at home though if he feels poorly

I'm so glad I kept him at home yesterday he had vomiting in the night.:(

What a vile virus, DS has been more ill than he was with chicken pox and I'd never heard of it. He's still not well. :(

Sad I think we had a mild case but I know my brother really suffered with it. The heat wont help either. Hope your ds is better soon
