as my 4 yrs dd had infected tonsillitis before as her both of her tonsils were totally white but this time it got pale brown spots on one tonsil and a white glaze over the whole tonsil....

she had a sore throat since sunday night and ive only looked in her throat properly now with a LED strong light and saw the brown spots...

there is a family history of tonsillitis as they all had their tonsils out.

thanks

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Mine all had horrible tonsils and all had ops , if your child has a temperature, listless and unhappy to eat and drink then I would say yes , go to Dr . 5 recorded episodes in a period of 6 months/ year and they while refer to ENT . There can be complications with left tonsils , which are not advertised so don't hesitate , my daughter has an on going auto immune illness because they believe her tonsils where so bad . Better to be seen as anxious mum then leaving for to long. Hope better soon .
