Overflow issues with pre-schooler

DD, nearly 4, is suffering from impaction and overflow. She is on Movicol (only day 3 so no major explosions yet). The soiling is getting bad, to the point that knickers are needing to be changed (and thrown away) throughout the day and the poo is seeping though when she sits down. She doesn't want to be in pull ups and even if she did I think that would be a backward step. Has anyone in this position found a way to deal with this? I have googled pant liners but haven't found anything satisfactory yet.

Oh gosh, sounds a nightmare.

I've some reusable pull ups that look just like knickers. I think I got them from tot bots, just thinking something more pant like might help?

We used Mother care training pants for our son when he started school. He's had constipation problems since he was three - he's now six - and these were pretty good at keeping DS's trousers dry whilst allowing him to realise he was wet. They do have a plastic inner liner which can rustle a bit but it wasn't noticeable in the course of a noisy day. HTH
