So DS(11) decides to wait until 11PM to tell me that it hurts to pee and it's almost unbearable. He says it's been getting worse all week, but typically didn't mention it until Friday night when the GP surgery is closed for the weekend and he's going away on holiday with the grandparents on Monday!

I'm guessing it's a uti-DH had one ages ago and it's as he described it. I never know when to pester the out of hours NHS 24 number. Would you? Do they treat this sort of thing at the weekend as I'm guessing although painful it's not an emergency? Or would you hope you can get into the GP first thing Monday morning before he heads off on his holidays?
