An extra tooth ??

DS (2 years) has all 20 teeth but I've only just noticed that between his right 'fang' and the tooth next to it there's almost another tooth poking out ?? It's much smaller than everything else but it's definitely there. Any advice? Can they get more than 20??

My ds1 (6) has an extra tooth (top front one so its quite noticeable).

The dentist said its quite normal and not to worry. Not sure if he will have an extra second tooth there as well (hopefully not!).

Fairly rare but no cause for concern. May well not have an extra tooth after baby teeth fall out.

DD1 (7) has an extra tooth inbetween her front two. She's having it removed but it would have saved a lot of trouble if she could have been x-rayed earlier and had it removed in time for her front two to come down in the right place. But you have to keep completely still for the x-ray, so how early it could have been I don't know!
