Reflux Babies - Domperidone - Does it cause diarrhoea?

DD has been on domperidone and a bit after that started getting much looser nappies. Sometimes all but liquid.

I presumed it was due to the domperidone moving milk through her system and left it a few weeks but just checked leaflet with domperidone and it doesn't lost that in side effects.

I can't get through to hospital clinic to speak to them today and we are not being seen there for another two weeks and I'm slightly concerned she might not be getting all nutrients from milk as a result but we really need this medicine.

Does anyone have experience of this side effect and, if so, did the drs take your child off domperidone as a result or leave them on it?

Thank you

My daughter was on it but no obvious side effects, my daughter was misdiagnosed with reflux, she has Eosinophilic disease

No, not for us, if anyting the meds caused constipation. Is she perhaps drinking more now and keeping more down resulting in looser nappies if she is medicated?

Domperidone does cause loose stools as it pushes food through the gut quicker so as not to legit cause the acidic effect. Or so my gp told me. Dd had domperidone and another one for her reflux
