1st injections HELP

daughter never had any problems with injections but my son at 9 nearly 10 weeks had his 1st lot yesterday and slept most of the day and woke regulaly in the night last night (normally still till 5-6) this morning i gave him a dose of calpol as where hed had his jabs he was red n looking sore and i noticed he was abit spotty on his chest but i think this is due to being hot but since around dinner i havent been able to but him down the nurse said he might sleep more n be abit more grumpy for 48 hours but everytime i try to put him down he crys even if hes fast asleep i dont know what to do should i be worried cos i am abitand its really getting me down

My DD screamed for 3 hours after her first set of jabs. It is very common for babies to be unsettled after them - I commented on a thread a while back, I'll see if I can find it for you in a minute.

Have you given him another dose of calpol to see if that helps? If you are very worried then I would ring out-of-hours and a doctor will ring you back. They were very helpful when I rang them.

im considering it hes fine when hes being cuddle and hes a mardy baby in general but i think i might ring just to be on the safe side thankyou for replying :)
