Whooping cough after immunisation?

My 16 month old had three jabs on Monday afternoon. The first night and full day after he was vomiting. He has since had a fever and this morning has woken with a BAD wheeze and a cough that makes him cry! He is clingy and whingy, as to be expected.

I don't remember my other children suffering this badly.

Should I worry?

Ps. He is also quite off balance (he has unilateral hearing loss, so not sure if the jabs would create fluid in the ears?)?

have you heard about the Buteyko breathing method? I was sent this link about learnbuteyko.com/buteyko-for-kids/ - im considering my son doing for a similar reason so any comments or suggestions would be appreciated - many thanks LB

How is he now chocolate & which vaccinations did he have?

incywincyspideragain · 30/06/2013 20:28

did you read the package inserts with the vaccinations?

One of the MMR brands has 'Otis media' (fluid in ear) as a known side affect - might be worth googling to the insert and checking out the side affects (report any you do link to vaccination yellowcard.mhra.gov.uk/ person administrating the jab should have told you this)

How is he doing? hope recovering well
