Hi, I'm new to the site, just wondering if anyone know how I can relieve the pain my son is feeling due to chickenpox in the roof of his mouth and under his tongue? He's really suffering bless him.

Keep him dosed on paracetamol, give the doses regularly following the recommendations.
Plenty of ice creams and ice lollies?

Good idea, do you know it never even occurred to me, though seems so obvious now! Thank you :)

If he is over a year old you can give him a dose of Piriton syrup as well as the Calpol. Piriton stops the itching from within and can really help with the discomfort of chicken pox.

Hope he gets better soon.
