My 4 month old is suffering from hayfever. Can anyone recommend a good consultant specialising in this in the London or Surrey area?

Why not just go to your GP?

Try the Gp first. He may well be able to prescribe an anti histamine. You can't buy them over the counter for under 1s but they can have it of prescribed. Worry about a specialist if the Gp won't help but that's the easiest quickest way.

My GP is not comfortable prescribing for a 4 month old, but I think he would be happy to refer us to a specialist.

Did he say what age he would feel comfortable prescribing from? If its 5/6 months then maybe just ride it out til then and treat with saline to clear eyes and nose and calbrofen/calpol if he's bad at night?

If its more Definitely go back then and ask for a referrAl and he may be able to recommend you a specialist and do you a letter to take with you.
