Weird wee?

Dd aged 9 has just come downstairs and claimed she has had a snotty wee? no pain or discomfort. Any idea what this could be?

Is she showing signs of puberty? Could it be vaginal discharge rather than wee?

She has become very moody and snappy lately. Doing well in school and popular so no problems there. She has started developing on top though. I was a late starter (16) so was expecting her to be too.
