I've done a few searches so I have read a few bits of advice.

first time sufferers Sad

had ovex 24hrs ago however my dd1 and ds have had the sickness bug. will they have brought up the ovex? they were fine through the night so had at least 12hrs of settled stomach.

just had the last shower and change of the day and dd1 certainly had a active little fecker making his way out Sad I know it can take up to 48hrs to work but will it work at all with the sick problem?

dd2 has been at school and ok... When I bathed her I couldn't see any movement but perhaps eggs? boak

ds didn't appear to have any at all

I've gone overboard on washing, cleaning and hoovering etc so taking prevention steps.

I also appear to have the problem, last night was hell and I don't feel that they have left iykwim? Angry

do I re dose the sick ones tomorrow? or wait? We're all very freaked out as it is!

If they weren't sick until 12 hours after the dose, it will have left their stomach and have been effective. It is likely that the drug won't have reached and killed all the wiggly wigglers just yet

lavenderblue1 · 19/06/2013 18:58

No, don't dose tomorrow, wait for 2 weeks, and then give another dose if necessary. Aren't they gruesome

browneyedpixie · 19/06/2013 19:40

Thanks. Awful awful awful
I keep the house so clean anyway, I feel repulsed.

dd1 appears to no longer have live worms i think when I showered her this morning and evening they are just dead? but how would they get there if dead? I've not seen her stools to check there.

dd2 and ds appear to be clear nothing visible.

dd1 was the one that was very sick though so I'm wondering if its worked? def no movement and she's had no itching.

Bump.

We've just been here but DS' worms in stools weren't moving 48 hours after treatment. I think I'm going to re-treat us all as a precaution next week when it's been a fortnight.

Maybe check with the pharmacist ?

looseleaf · 21/06/2013 22:20

I know how unsettling/ yucky it feels as when I spotted DS' worms one evening I shot out to a late- opening pharmacy and exaggerated his age by 3 weeks in order to treat us all within half an hour! Really made me uncomfortable but no sign of anything further here (yet)

browneyedpixie · 22/06/2013 06:53

well ive had a night from hell Angry
ds nothing this morning but will check dd1 and dd2

Tuesday we had the table so surely it should have worked by now?

no signs of worms this am on dd1 but we shall see if the little feckers come back later
