My 7 year old has been diagnosed with this today but have been told by our GP that they will be in touch soon once they have decided which course of action is best. Our GP said he will speak to an expert and call soon.
Is this normal?
What are the likely treatments?

DS is being treated for impaction atm. He is taking Movicol sachets. We're up to 12 a day now, still no movement of the blockage :( Back to the doc tomorrow.

All we've been told is that they'll be in touch.
Is this a new thing with your child or ongoing?
