She's just generally unwell and no rash / headache or anything of note to be concerned about. It's just the high temp. Calpol hasn't touched it.

If she was a baby I'd be calling the out of hours doc, but as she's older I'm wondering if we just sit it out...

She's in quite good spirits watching Baron Von Speedster. No appetite but drinking.

Any advice welcome.

you can give nuerofen on top as well.

Ice lolly, sit her in her undies, and if it is not coming down in 30 mins, call NHS direct.

Ibuprofen is better for a temperature, you can alternate it with Calpol.

NoEggsplanation · 14/06/2013 19:28

Ok will try ibuprofen too.

How is she now?

NoEggsplanation · 14/06/2013 21:22

Ibuprofen has worked wonders. She's played 30mins of Candy Crush and spent five minutes dancing to the Moshi Monsters christmas anthem. Suspect there'll be something of a comedown once the meds wear off tho.

So you can do paracetamol ever 4 hours and and ibuprofen every 6 so she is getting something every 2 hours. Glad she is better x
