Can chicken pox itch return a week later?

Dd's chicken pix stopped itching and she felt better around ten days ago. But tonight her back is really itchy. She is two so not hugely articulate but enough to say where hurts and she keeps scratching it in her sleep. Is it the pox returning (?!) or something unrelated?

Is her back still scabby? It does itch when scabs are about to fall off.

My dd had it for about 5/6 weeks in total, spots went for one week in between. GP said she was just unlucky, so it is possible
