DS (2.8yrs) suddenly dribbling again?

As the title says really.

DS has started dribbling again - full scale dripping off his chin. He does have a small cold and is losing his voice slightly, but no more than he has done in the past. It's been going for about a week.

It's almost like he's teething again, but I know he has a full set of teeth all fully erupted thanks to a recent visit to the dentist.

We're off on holiday soon, is this a developmental thing or it is worth a trip to the GP (non-urgent appointment!) to check for something underlying it?

It could be that he has a sore throat, which could also account for the loss of voice. Most sore throats are caused by viruses and so antibiotics will not help.

As you are going away soon, it may be worth having him checked just for your own peace of mind.
