DS1 has got eczema on his inner elbow and its quite flared up at the moment, it's quite a sunny day here and were going to the park this afternoon, is it ok to put sun cream on it or will it make it worse?

What sun cream do you use? DS has eczema and I have always found The Sun Mousse for Kids the best one for not irritating his skin, its really nice to use as well.

If his arm is really sore I'd probably just put a loose lightweight long sleeve top on him though.

you have to give it a try if you don't want dc in long sleeves all the time (which is fine btw)
my dc react to most creams but a few are fine. I just have to remember to wash it off at night.

My DD has very sensitive skin, and had bad eczema when she was younger. I tried long sleeve tops as much as possible, and when using sun cream, stuck to piz buin, as this seemed to be the kindest to her skin.

Hi, my ds has eczema and is ok with sun cream. I always use the nivea for sensitive skin (the white bottle) on him with no problems.
