Back injuries in children - osteopath?

DD fell off a 8-10 foot plat form in a playground on Monday. She's been up and about, was able to walk after about 10 minutes. She is still complaining about pain in her foot and down her leg as well as in her back. She is 8 years old.

I see online that there is a children's osteopathy centre in Wandsworth. Does anyone have experience of this?

She also had a roller blading fall a month ago. Took her to the GP who said it would get better after awhile and that was all.

I think I'd take her to A&E. Sounds like sciatica, something misaligned and pressing on the nerve. I'd want her X-rayed. Ask them what they think of the osteopath idea.

ok. thank you.

We went to the GP today. The doctor tested her limbs and had a good look at DD, while mouthing to me "She's ok." the GP said DD was just sore, and 2 weeks off PE should be enough.

We've reached this stage where DD tries to milk every ache and pain and sniffle, in an attempt to get out of things like school and PE...

She seems to be ok after being checked over by the doctor. Though she is still complaining of some pains.
