Hi.
My son has never been the most regular when it comes to number 2's, he is 19 months old and for the last 6 months or so only seems to poo every 2 or 3 days. His stools appear normal, although sometimes they can be like rabbit droppings BUT... i only ever go every other day and sometimes mine can be like droppings.
He doesn't seem to be in pain when passing them.

Im just looking for some reassurance that its 'normal' for him as it is for me!

Rabbit droppings are most likely a sign if constipation. It can be normal for kids to poo every two to three days.

You should try him with more water/liquids and get him to eat more fibre/fruits.

Hi Nombrechange.
He eats like a fruit bat, he has at least 4 portions a day and he is really with water, its all he drinks, only having juice as a treat. But he does he eat a lot of bread and pasta, i think i'll change that part of his diet and see if theres any improvement.

My DT2 is like that. would eat the fruit bowl if given the chance. No veg he wont touch but served pasta will eat the pasta over the veg sauce. I have switched to brown carbs now. Had to do one slice brown bread and one white at first and 50-50 with the pasta and rice but he's used to it now.
