Hi, this is just a quick one really x my daughter had her second MMR (and the dip) yesterday and today she has been a little bit withdrawn but ive put that down to her having both arms jabbed. we were told that if she was alright the first time she should be alright this time (ie no temps etc) but because I can't remember the first time and she's had a couple of febrile convulsions I've got my self into a state lol so basically has the above been true for you?? X

My DS had his booster about two weeks ago, and was most definitely a bit 'off' (clingy, grumpy etc.) and had a low-grade fever for a day or so afterwards.

Thankfully, these symptoms were very short-lived and he quickly bounced back to his normal self. Hope your DD does the same

Well she seems to have picked up a bit (she had a very restless night last night - so it may be that's she's overly tired today) x was your ds the same after his first one ?? X

No, he didn't really react to the first one, so I was a bit surprised that he was so out of sorts this time. I couldn't even tell you what was really wrong with him - he was just not at all himself. Think this kind of thing is well within the boundaries of a normal immunisation response though.
