Head pain

DD (7 years) has been complaining of a pain on the side of her head for about 4 days. Not a headache, but hurts on touching. She's not banged her head and there is nothing to see there. Tonight, she's just called me upstairs to say that another part of her head feels 'odd', tender with what I can only think she's describing as odd sensations.

I'm at a loss. She seems ok otherwise.

Does this ring any bells with anyone?

Has she changed her hairstyle recently (maybe pulling her hair up against it's natural fall causing tension to the scalp)? Otherwise I'd phone the GP's surgery tomorrow to get her seen. Good luck. x

Thanks for replying Esiotrotter, that's what my Mum said, but no, nothing like that. The pain is not near her existing hair parting either, so am not sure it's anything to do with her hair.

You're right - GP tomorrow. This is bugging me now.

Did you take her to the GP today?

Curious to know how you got on?
