Reflux - can gaviscon stop working?

Hello
Dd is 16 wks old and has been on gaviscon for around 6 weeks after vomiting up every feed

It worked within days and she was like a different baby, however the reflux signs seem to have reared their ugly again, being sick ( projectile) screaming during and after feeds, arching her back ect.
Just wondering if the gaviscon has just stopped working??

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Hi, I think that the dose of infant gaviscon may need to go up as your baby puts on weight unless that's already been done - my ds2 started on half dose at 5 weeks and it was increased later on. Check with your GP - there will be other suitable medications if gaviscon is not enough.

Have a check in the breast / bottle feeding topic for advice on reflux too. I got a lot of info from threads on there. Good luck.
