Dd (13) fell over a year or so ago and cut her knee quite badly on a stone. It took a few weeks to heal up properly. It's formed a really strange sort of scar, raised with a soft texture. It keeps changing colour, sometimes it is bright red, sometimes blueish sometimes it looks almost black.
So, what sort of scar does this? And is there anything dd can due to reduce it? It really really stands out when it goes black in particular and now that its short socks season she feels quite self conscious about it.
