Just given dd who is 3 years old 2 puffs of ventolin because she seems wheezy tonight following on from a cold. I have one prescribed too and just wondered if it would be the same one. Suddenly worried I could have given her mine. Can't find another one at the moment to compare. It says 100micrograms - is this the normal dose ?

Hubby works in pharmacy, 100 is standard.
No child specific ventolin.

Thank you so much for replying macdog. Feeling rather frazzled and sleep deprived tonight. That has reassured me.

My understanding is there is just one dose of inhaler and you just vary the amount of puffs.

Hope she is ok
