Has anyone got any experience of this? My 4 year old son has been advised he has this operation done in the next 8 weeks, he on an extensive amount of medication for reflux and asthma, he does have various other medical conditions that are being dealt with, he has had a PH study and barium meal done.
I've been reading up on it (maybe not a good idea) but the after effects of the op is terrifying :-/
How long is the recovery time? Are they in a lot of pain after? How do they start eating again? Sorry for sounding so stupid but there is lots of conflicting information out there and his pead just said he strongly advises he has the operation and we are to think about it and see the surgeon next week.
