DD (9) was the healthy control in a medical research project. She had an echo and it was found that she had regurgitation of thye valve and the aortic root was higher than should be.
My mother was born with a bicuspid aortic valve and i have a prolapsed mitral valve, makes me think dodgy genes!

Hospital (GOSH) are going to look over the echo tapes and contact me, but of course i am now anxiously waiting!

I am Particulary concerned with the root problem, does anyone have any experience of this?

It is the aortic valve, he couldn't say for sure if it was a tricuspid or bicuspid valve, i did mention family history.
