He has survived the most horrific cancer treatment with his smile, joy and love intact. Unfortunately the neuroblastoma has survived too.

BehindLockNumberNine · 25/04/2013 12:36

Oh Trazzle, still thinking of you all, still splodging and holding you tight.
Much love, as always x

Another one trying to strike a balance between cluttering up your thread and letting you know we're still thinking about you all the time.
And failing to give blood :( Sessions in my area don't seem to happen until July! The website seemed to work properly at work but still couldn't see any sooner sessions. There is a little girl I know with neuroblastoma through a friend of a friend, I am on her facebook and she had a bleed today and is having a transfusion :(

MelodyBaker · 25/04/2013 16:52

I gave blood in my lunch hour today trazzles. 8 of us went. I thought of Joe while they took my blood. Hope your ok, thinking of you x

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 25/04/2013 21:44

Still thinking of you all Trazzles, hoping that Joe is gaining in strength and that you're all able to enjoy being together.

I guess by now you've had more results from his hospital team and have some tough choices to make.

You cannot make the wrong choice, just the one that you and your DH feel is the right one for Joe.

It's shit, but we're all still here. Still willing you all on through this journey.

Xxxxx

narmada · 25/04/2013 21:50

Still thinking of you also. Hope you're getting by.

CoteDAzur · 25/04/2013 21:51

I'm hoping for a miracle for your little Joe, Trazzle.

TeaMakesItAllPossible · 25/04/2013 22:06

Me too ... on the thinking of you daily but not clogging thread theme.

Love to you, MrT, Joe and DD and all your family and friends

NorksAreMessy · 25/04/2013 22:45

YAY for melody

Trazzletoes · 26/04/2013 07:03

Thanks Melody

Joe had his MRI on Wednesday so we are off to the hospital this morning for results. They should be able to tell us exactly where the tumours are in his head - very much hoping they are in his skull rather than his brain. No less deadly in the end but a bit less scary.

He's doing well at the moment. We are having lots of cuddles. He likes to just look in my eyes with his right hand pressed on my cheek like he can read my mind ( thank goodness he can't). I'm really struggling with the idea that his little hand isn't always going to be there.

There's been a lot of peekaboo between him and dd under his Little Hug blanket as well. Completely adorable. And in hospital on Wednesday the puppet man came round to do a show. Joseph was in absolute hysterics. I had to film his reaction because it was so lovely to hear him laughing so hard. It's been a long time since he has done that.

So after today we should have a better idea what we are dealing with.

Oh Trazzle. He sounds adorable and this is so hard. I hope you get news which gives you some hope

CabbageLeaves · 26/04/2013 07:07

(And I mean hope in terms of how you proceed rather than an unrealistic hope :( )

LegoAcupuncture · 26/04/2013 07:08

What an adorable little boy you have Trazzle. Good luck with today x

duchesse · 26/04/2013 07:25

I hope today goes as smoothly as possible Trazzle.

BarmeeMarmee · 26/04/2013 07:40

Will be thinking of you today Trazzles (not that we aren't anyway!). Children's laughter is one of the most precious sounds in the world, I'm glad Joe enjoyed the puppet show so much. Love, prayers and splodges to you all.

5madthings · 26/04/2013 08:25

Oh trazzle i wish i had something helpful to say..

I am glad Joe is feeling better and you are gettting giggles and laughter, i hope today goes as well as it can, much love and strength to you all xxx

barefootcook · 26/04/2013 09:00

Hi Trazzle

it's lovely to hear from you again. Joe sounds a delight-and so good that you managed to record his reaction to the puppet man. I hope the next few days go well for you both. I'll be thinking about you and sending positive thoughts.

Nicolaeus · 26/04/2013 09:35

Thinking of you all. I lurk on your threads and it brings tears to my eyes everytime. Your love for Joe just shines through.

A big splodge of light for you in Paris - where I hope you'll be soon visiting Mickey.

drjohnsonscat · 26/04/2013 09:36

oh my gosh trazzles, how he looks into your eyes just slayed me.

What a beautiful boy he is.

ToffeeWhirl · 26/04/2013 09:46

I hope the MMR gives the best result possible in the circumstances, Trazzle. It's wonderful that Joe and his sister are having fun together and that he enjoyed the puppet show so much. And also that you and he are able to have such lovely cuddles together.

And I'm so, so sorry for what you are going through.

Thinking of you. X.

ToffeeWhirl · 26/04/2013 09:49

Me too, drjohn, but I didn't know how to express it and it upset me so much. I don't suppose it helps much, trazzle, but there are a lot of mums here crying with you Sad.

lougle · 26/04/2013 10:11

Praying and hoping for silver linings on that cloud, Trazzle.
