DD has developed what appears to be a stye on her eye (according to ex p). I have never had one (and therefore this is all new to me) but ex p has. Her eyelid has been red and swollen all week but today appears to look more like she has a "black" eye and it is definitely less swollen. It is quite a fine line of dark purply coloured "bruising?" (think winged dark eyeliner) quite close to the lash line. Is this "normal" when someone has had a stye? My feeling is that it is on it's way out but if anyone can offer any nuggets of info I would be grateful. Thanks.
