Pripsen unavailable so what else for threadworms if under 2 years?

I think DD2 has threadworms and I've got ovex here for DD1 and rest of the family but I sent DH to boots to get pripsen for DD2 as she's only 14 months. The pharmacist told him there is a manufacturing issue and it will not be in stock for the foreseeable future. She wouldn't advise any alternative but suggested we see GP and that we should inform GP about the shortage of pripsen. Anyone know if there are any alternatives available for under 2's? I can't get to our GP until after the weekend and I really wanted to get shot of the little bu**ers!

We had Vernox for DD2 when she was around the same age. Not sure if you csn buy it direct from the chemist though as the GP prescribed it over the phone.

Thank you for replying. Vermox is the same as ovex. Pharmacist says over 2 only. May be if its given on prescription it's at the discretion of the GP. Guess I'll have to bite the bullet and ring tomorrow for an appointment.
