Ds has tonsillitis and has has been prescribed antibiotics. He is vomiting which I think is due to the muck from his throat as he was sick before he started taking the antibiotics. He had his 2nd dose at 6:15 this morning and was sick exactly 2 hours later. Should the antibiotics been absorbed fully in this time? Is it usual to vomit with tonsillitis? How long do antibiotics usually take to work? He has running high temp and has only just got over a flue 2 weeks ago when he ran a fever for 2 weeks so he is already weak. Worried about having to give calpol again so soon after last illness.
