How tired was your baby with chicken pox

DD3, 8 months old. Has chicken pox. Seems fairly mild. Temp of 38oC, about 6 spots total, 2 on face, 2 on back, one on chest and one under arm. Snotty. Seems to be gasping a little bit for breath but is bunged up. I noticed the spots last night so more spots may come. CP going round nursery.

How tired was your baby? Baby has slept all night, didn't eat much breakfast, did well for lunch. She slept for nearly 3 hours after lunch. She has been up literally about an hour. Has had some calpol and milk and she's asleep again!! Is this usual? As I say, seems a fairly mild case?

Mine didn't seem super-sleepy, but that could just be my kids.

I think you only need to worry if they are very lethargic, are unable to be roused from sleep, but I am not a doc.

Mine (2 & 6) have just had it - they both slept a little more in the day but I think that was mainly as they had difficult nights. They both completely went off their food but drank more, and just wanted to cuddle up on the sofa for a few days being very still.
