Dd2 and spots on face

My dd is almost 8. Tonight I noticed lots of small spots had cropped up on her forehead and chin. They are like teenage acne spots. Isn t she too young for this sort of hormonal change that would cause her to have these?

no she's not too young unfortunately

now would be a good time to get her into good face washing habits but stay away from the soap :)

but it might not be spots so if they don't go away then take her to the Dr. I have just been having a rant on AIBU about Molluscum Contagiosum which are just small spots that can appear everywhere and I was thinking about starting a thread on the childrens' health as I am so angry it's being classed (in a newspaper article today about French health experts!!) as a sexually transmitted disease when it isn't! I hope it's just spots - although she's young at least yu can get skin creams to help normal spots but molluscum has no treatment and can take ages to go.
