Sorry for basic question but this is the first time dd aged 13months has had a temp. She's normally running around like a loony but is v. hot and clung fast to me, breathing quite quick and shallow. it's hard to get a good reading on the thermometer but it's saying around the 37.7 mark. I feel it could be a bit higher though, not sure if I'm getting it into her ear enough iykwim.

do you calpol in this situation or just keep an eye? thanks :)

Calpol now.

Poledra · 18/03/2013 15:30

If the breathing's gone rapid and shallow, Calpol now.

MrsHoarder · 18/03/2013 15:31

Calpol and watch her to check it goes down.

Definitely calpol now. I was going to say if DC not particularly bothered then don't worry, but she is obviously feeling poorly so go for it.
