My dd is 10, 2 years ago she fell and broke her front adult tooth, probably broke half of it off, dentist built it back up as a temporary measure and we got told it can't be fixed permanently till she is 15/16. the 1st one lasted 3 hours!, it was done again the next day and lasted a year, this also lasted a year and came out yesterday,I don't know whether she is just unlucky because some can last years according to the dentist, anyway last time dentist said there are only so many times it can be built up. is this the case? and what would happen, would she be expected to live with half a tooth for the next 5 years???

You can build it up every day forever but it increases the chance of the nerve dying and the tooth needing a root canal treatment.
