Scientists find an existing drug used for sleeping sickness "cures" autistic symptoms in mice, and start a small clinical trial on children.

I am stunned by this - in a good way. A small beacon of hope.

dunno - they have genetically modified them to exhibit much of the brain chemistry of autistic people?
