My ds 10 yrs had grommits put in last January(2012)...His left ear has caused him so many problems from day 1 !!
His grommits were for "ear pressure" as opposed to fluid ( I think!)
He had a check up in Jan but audiologist was off sick and there was no cover so no hearing test was done but Doctor said they were still in and they both looked clear ..bye bye !!
Next app is September ....but he is complaining now (and previously) that it hurts his ear when he burps ...obviously something to do with ear pressure ....but how long shall I leave it ?.......
Is it normal and it means the Grommits are "working" ..or is something else going on ??
