Which aveeno cream for excema?

My ds2 is having a really bad flare up of his excema.
We can normally keep it relatively controlled using diprobase and epaderm but he still gets occasional flare ups.
Have been reading a lot about Aveeno being good but there are so many creams so wondering which is best to try
Thanks

I've been using Aveeno on ds1's uber dry skin and it seems to help. On ds2&3 I use Cetraben on them as they have Eczema and use the bath emollient which seems to help.

Any of them

Amazing stuff

Did you know you can ask for it on prescription?

we use epaderm cream and ointment the ointment seems to stick better, we use eumovate ointment when it flares up, only once a day. we use dermol bath emollient in the bath and lotion as a soap substitute. apparently (saw brilliant eczema nurse) daily baths are better as less chance of infection, only once a day with any steroid cream as research shows no difference between that and twice and if skin really bad and dry apply moisturiser every two hours!

My dh and dd use Elizabeth Arden 8 hour skin protectant as long as the skin is not broken. They apply several times a day and this seems to work very well.

First they used diprobase, cetraben, etc. but that was less successful.

we use the daily moisturiser (body one) and would recommend, it's effective but nice and light compared with other things we've tried. it was £2 off so only £3.50 for a big tube in Superdrug last week.

I used it for DS1 and it was like a miracle cream - I think the one with colloidal oatmeal in?

Great. Thanks all.
Will go and have a browse later Smile

I used to find the basic aveeno cream was fine but a few years ago they changed the ingredients slightly and now it makes me flare up. The best one I have found is Aveeno baby ezcema therapy moisturising cream - it's fantastic, it is the only thing I can tolerate on my face.
