I think prednisolone has turned 5yo ds into a sleepwalker

It is so weird. The first night he had it, he woke up very agitated, wordless, distressed; I thought it was either meds or nightmares.

2nd night, agitation was much, much worse; he was up for 2hrs, all squirmy and babbling like a drunk.

Next morning dr said this was classic adverse reaction (makers list anxiety, restlessness, sleep interruptions) and not to give 3rd dose. A month later ds is still appearing every night in living room an hour or two after bed. Looks awake, doesn't say anything much, goes back to bed usually with a little moment of agitation, then quickly back to sleep - but have just discovered he has no idea he's doing this. No memory of it at all.

He's never done anything like this before, ever. Weirdness, coincidence, or what?

Hi, my DS has had countless courses of pred, but the hospital or GP have always given it to him in the morning due to the fact it makes him hyper, and i mean bouncing off the walls kinda hyper!!! on the rare emergency occasions he has had it at night it's been mental!!

It's never made DS have any long term sleep problems though?
