Non-specific post viral rash or Chickenpox?

I think its the former (she's just had a bad cold which started with a bit of a temp) but she's 2,7mths and prime age for chickenpox though not come into contact with it that I know of. No raised areas, no blisters or crusty bits, has not been ill or particularly cranky over the past few days before they appeared.
So, small pink spots similar to flea bites in size at her waistline, a couple around her neck and under one arm. Doesn't appear to have gotten more overnight.
Has anyone seen chickenpox start like this ? I don't want her exposing other children but I'm fairly confident it is not The Pox.
